TEAM MEMBER

David Chan – Chairman

David Chan has owned an import-export and consulting business (World Sky Industries Ltd) for more than 30 years. He is the Chief Authorized Representative for Utah Valley University and Dixie State University in China. David owns and operates World Sky International Group, a company that focuses on recruiting Asia students to attend high schools and universities in the United States and Canada. The company has nine offices in mainland China and Hong Kong as well as a number of partner schools throughout China.

David gives non-profit service through his time as a scout leader. David also has more than 40 years of experience working with scouting through the Hong Kong Scout Association and Scouts Canada as a Scouter, District Commissioner and Regional Trainer.

Christina Wong – President

Christina Wong is the founder and owner of World Sky Industries, Ltd., an import-export business headquartered in Hong Kong. The main focus of the company is working with manufacturers in China and Southern Asia to produce wholesale home goods, seasonal decor, and supplies. World Sky also operates as an exclusive agent for importers and exporters from the United States and Europe to provide source and quality control and to arrange shipment services for most general merchandise.

Christina has served as a beaver scout and cub scout leader for Scouts Canada and Scouts Hong Kong for more than thirty years. For the past few years, she has worked as a teacher, mentor, and host family coordinator for students of all ages with World Sky International Group. She currently splits her time between Coquitlam, Canada, and Hong Kong.

Sammy Yau – Director

Sammy Yau was educated in Canada and he received the B.AS. degree from University of British Columbia. His background has included management in education, technology, and business. In 2004-2007, he worked as the project/product management in an engineering firm. His work includes product sourcing, cost management, production process, inspection and delivery time-to-market.

Sammy is an avid supporter of the Boy Scout program and has served as Scout Leader for the last 5 years for his local Boy Scout Troop. Sammy loves the game of basketball and has coached kids of all ages in the sport.
